We guarantee that you will have one of the greatest elk hunting trips in the U.S.    We look forward to assisting you with every detail of your elk hunting trip.

Please look over the trips we have assembled for you, then give us a call and let us make this one of the best elk hunting trips you've ever experienced! Call now to get our latest elk hunting information or we will call you.

Guided hunt 2004 dates are October 9 - 17, October 18 - 25, and October 27 - Nov. 4. Drop camp dates are October 8 - 18 and October 20 - 30. Our elk hunting drop camps are equipped with tents, cots, foam pads, lanterns, camp stove and a wood heating stove. No horses are left in camp and hunters provide their own food. The guided hunting trips have two hunters to one guide.

All food is provided and each tent is furnished with a wood heating stove, cot, foam pad, and lantern. We pack in about 8 miles on both elk hunts. We are in a great area. Our hunting is in brush country. The elevation is not real high but the terrain is steep. This makes for tough hunting but big elk. It is a great area and we pride ourselves in offering a super hunt and good time.

We are now booking for the 2004 elk hunting season. A deposit of half the price of the hunt will reserve the hunt for you. We also will need the license and tag fees. They go on sale Dec. 1, of this year. Elk hunting tags in Idaho are sold on a first come first serve basis and we do have an outfitter allotment of tags. You send us the fees and we purchase the tags for you from the outfitter pool.

As members of the Idaho Outfitters and Guide Association Barb and Harlan Opdahl for over twenty years have been providing elk hunting trips from the pristine wilderness in Clearwater National Forest. This area has consistently been one of the most solid big-game populations around.

The Opdahls are well known for their hospitality, wonderful food, and quality livestock and first class elk hunting trips. The recipients of numerous awards, they have achieved national recognition and acclaim for their contributions in connecting Americans with their historic heritage.
